Dearest AAWD Members,
You can experience the sensation also...
Have you ever done something that you just can’t hold inside because you want everyone else to experience that wonderful feeling of giving someone a gift they never thought possible??
Debra is a beautiful woman that fell on hard times and was down-trodden. On her own she went for help to better herself so that she could get out of relying on public assistance. It is a very brave move and one is to be congratulated and rewarded for venturing into the unknown. In Colorado, Smiles for Success has partnered with the Women’s Bean Project in assisting women to help them look their best to the public in preparation for job interviews and their new job. Upon meeting Debra, she said, I doubt anyone would hire me with this smile. Now she says she is going to wow the world!
I have to share with you the opportunity to participate in the Smiles for Success (SFS), the benevolent arm of the American Association of Women Dentists. SFS was started in New York City in 1996 and in 1998 Boston, Denver and Philadelphia followed this great example. The mission of Smiles for Success is to offer cost-free dental care to women graduates of accredited job readiness and placement programs or other community-based agencies thus helping those who are helping themselves. Smiles for Success is affiliated with numerous job readiness programs in over 30 states. The
dental care offered is meant to be a short-term solution to those who need treatment unavailable to them through government programs or traditional insurance as they move from public assistance to the working world.
It was a great pleasure to help transform Debra’s appearance and self confidence through the talents and skills that we all possess. Please VOLUNTEER for SFS today by calling:
It is the best thing you will do in 2010!
Sincerely,
Laura

Dear Dr. Murcko,
Some people only know one way of giving — with both hands, with all their hearts, without a second thought.
Thank you for being one of those people. You and your staff have been a blessing to me. Your kindness will always be appreciated. My smile will shine from now on!

Dear Dr. Murcko and Staff,
Thank you so much for helping one of our program participants, Debra Blanton. You have all been so kind and have done an amazing job. I know her dental needs have been great. Debra is in the job search phase of our program and will be leaving us soon. Her new teeth are a definite confidence builder. We all love her new smile, especially Debra.
With warm regards,
Patricia Chason
